  • Model 3 & Model Y Enhancements: Tesla introduced new trims for the Model 3 and Model Y, alongside new S3XY paint options, catering to a broader customer base and preferences.
  • Model 3 Refresh: The ramp-up of the refreshed Model 3 has continued successfully. Additionally, more Model 3 trims are now qualified for the IRA Tax Credit, enhancing their appeal in the market.
  • Cybertruck Production: Production of the Cybertruck has more than tripled sequentially, with a strong trajectory towards profitability by the end of 2024.

  • 4680 Cell Production: In Q2, Tesla produced 50% more 4680 cells compared to Q1 and continues to see cost improvements.
  • Cybertruck Prototype: Tesla started validation of vehicle testing for the first prototype Cybertruck with in-house dry cathode 4680 cells in July, marking a significant cost reduction milestone once ramped.

Energy Storage Achievements

  • Record Energy Storage Deployments: Tesla Megapack and Powerwall achieved record deployment in Q2 with 9.4 GWh of total storage deployments.
