Just a few days ago, we reported on GM’s acceptance of orders for their CCS to NACS adapter, hinting at the possibility of GM customers finally gaining access to Tesla Superchargers in the near future. However, today, an owner of a GM EV reached out to us on X with some concerning news. GM appears to have indefinitely delayed his order, with the dealership stating, “it is still a future part that is not available to order yet.”
While the reasons behind this delay remain speculative for the time being, the timing of this development is notably close to the recent layoffs of the Tesla Supercharger team just a few days ago. Presently, this appears to be the only reported instance of such a delay, but we will be monitoring the situation and provide updates as they unfold.
